Art Exhibit
The City of Thompson offers artists a chance to showcase their artwork in the Heritage North Museum. All kinds of art format are presented at the museum. Come down and see photo, paintings, sculptures and more. We are always looking for people to put up an exhibit.
So if you would like to showcase your work feel free to contact the Recreation Centre for more details call: 204-677-7969.
The Melville Boys
Lee and Owen Melville arrive at a lakeside cabin for a relaxing weekend of fishing and brotherly bonding. Before they can open their tackle boxes, their plans are not-so-rudely interrupted by the arrival of two attractive, but very different, sisters. Canadian playwright Norm Foster shows why he’s often compared to Neil Simon with this funny and tender play about four people cast adrift who help each other find their way.
Janelle Nadeau
Harpist and vocalist Janelle Nadeau’s performances are a one-of-a-kind experience that showcase multiple harps and a range of musical genres that go from Celtic, to Spanish, original tunes, to popular songs and beyond. Her classical training, combined with her personal contemporary repertoire, provides a wholly refreshing approach to the harp.
